While I didn't get to work on this as much as I would have liked, almost everything is all laid out, most of it unwrapped and ready for texturing. Once I get back to the school with the cintiqs you'll start getting updates with texture!

After a lovely evening with a few friends, I've decided to start a new project. Look for frequent updates on this one. Hoping to have the environment done by early Feburary!
First up, a remodel of the ROUGE, which needs a rename, from 208k polys (maybe I went a bit crazy on that one) to 3.5k. Next up, unwrapping!

Zbrush
Lately I've been working a lot with Zbrush. I have 3 or 4 models currently underway, so look for them soon. Nothing to show just yet though.

Alright I suppose I'll start with my latest stuff. I recently designed my ROU-GE, Roaming Operational Unit - Gun Enforcer class. He is still being touched up but I like him quite a bit.
Then we have an Obelisk for Attero, haven't gotten around to texturing or painting it. Both made in Maya, with Zbrush on the Obelisk.
Hi everyone, this is my first blog so I figure telling you a little about me is as good a place to start as any. I'm a 21 year old modeler that works primarily in Maya and Zbrush, but I'm not opposed to learning other programs. I grew up in the little town of Owensville, Missouri. If you find it, you're lost. While the town didn't offer anything in terms of technology or any sort of value for a kid like me the people and town is a great place to grow up. My dad, despite our frequent arguments, is to blame for my over the top work ethic. He always taught me to do the best I could on everything, whether that be in sports, school, job, or anything else, and to this day I follow that. After High School I went to Southeast Missouri State University, or SEMO for short. I went there because when I enrolled they had a professor who had been in the industry, however, he left 2 months before I got there. His replacement was a man named Peter Chanthanakone. When I first walked into Peter's class I was a bit skeptical, I hadn't seen his work and didn't know his teaching style. At first I hated it, he moved fast, and didn't like to help you unless you really needed it. Once again a blessing in disguise, which I feel was his plan all along, that taught me to solve my own problems, not rely on others for help. Peter gave me my start in modeling and a touch of animation, then invited me to help him with an independent movie, which I happily accepted. I worked for the better part of my stay at SEMO on everything from modeling, texturing, and lighting. The movie is slated to release sometime soon I understand, but currently I am living in Tempe, Arizona going to the University of Advancing Technology. It's a pretty cool school, though I'm learning more from students than professors, not to say the professors don't know what they are doing. I have already worked on one game project, Attero, which is a sort of medieval FPS with RPG elements. It's pretty neato. Currently I'm doing freelance work where I can, looking for animators and riggers for a game trailer I want to make, and refining my skills whenever I can.
